Prof. Ron Hambleton receives the first Tom Oakland Award for Distinguished Contributions to Testing and Assessment

On July 1st 2016, during the opening ceremony of the 10th conference of the International Test Commission, the ITC has awarded for the first time its "Tom Oakland Award for Distinguished Contributions to Testing and Assessment". The award was handed over by Prof. Steve Sireci, Chair of the Award Committee.

The award was received by Prof. Ronald K. Hambleton, Distinguished University Professor in the Department of Educational Policy, Research & Administration, of the College of Education, University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Prof. Ronald K. Hambleton is to give his Award Address at the ITC conference in Montreal, in 2018.
