The ITC 12th Conference on Tests and Testing
A Colloquium on Diversity and Equity in a Globalized Digital World: Opportunities and Challenges for Assessment
will be hosted from 9th - 12th July 2021
The International
Test Commission (ITC) had planned to hold its 12th International
Conference in July 2020 in Luxembourg. As you may know, this proved to be
impossible due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It
was a difficult decision to make, however the health and safety of our members
and everyone else involved is our highest priority and we take it very
seriously. It was agreed that we should postpone the event and reconsider how
and when best to hold it.
We are pleased to
announce that the postponed 2020
ITC 12th Conference will be the core of a virtual Colloquium to be
run from the 9th to 12th of July 2021.
As far as possible we want to retain the structure and contents that
had been accepted for the 2020 event. While being online has some disadvantages
in terms of lacking face-to-face contact, it provides a far greater opportunity
for people to actually attend the event as they are not having to provide
funding for travel and accommodation, do not need to get visas or plan for long
periods away from their work. We do expect as a result of this to have a much
greater number of attendees and as a result expect to be able to offer extremely
competitive registration fees.
